Siege Weapons

  1. Trebuchets, catapults, and ballistae may be used in melee when allowed.
  2. Large munitions (substantial blows)
    1. Siege munitions include ballista bolts and rocks (a foam or 4 tennis ball clusters).
    1. Count as substantial blows unless they strike an arm or are glancing.
  3. Small munitions (telling blows)
    1. May be single tennis balls.
    1. Count as telling blows unless they strike an arm or are glancing.
  4. All siege weapons must be durable and free-standing.
  5. Plans for siege weapons are available to interested individuals.
  6. Siege weapons must be tested and approved prior to use in any combat.
  7. Siege towers are subject to approval of the Marshalate.
