Crown War shall be held at Armistice each June (or as otherwise scheduled and/or determined).
Crown War and Winter War should be a combined effort among all members of Solara.
We encourage each Steading, who shall so desire, to volunteer for a portion of the activities and glory of the War, from running a feast, bardic, classes, competitions, tournaments, and other such joys and activities for the enjoyment of the people.
Winter War shall be based upon bids for Steadings to host.
Steadings who wish to host Winter War should place their bids to the seated Crown no later than six (6) months prior to the event for planning and preparation time.
Exceptions may be made by the Crown on the drop-dead date for bids.
Groups entering bids must provide an estimated date for the event in which they have assurance they can achieve and any other special consideration which they wish to submit to enhance their bid.
The Crown will accept these bids and choose one to be the location for the next Crown event.
No taxes shall be levied upon any Event. However, Branches who are desirous to lessen the burden of the Crown by assisting their travel are much appreciated. Other options are to provide the Crown with food, lodging, and free entry into the events to assist them to be able to attend as many events as possible during their progress.
