Solara will utilize an official website. Each branch may choose to link back to a social media page such as Facebook or have a link to a monitored email for inquiries.
As our social media sites are a reflection on The Realms of Solara, we ask that all social media administrators utilize their very best judgment on maintaining the Branch’s site. These are technically part of our “brand” and thus should promote a positive image of our organization.
Social media sites should link back to Solara or reference the Realms of Solara.
For Facebook, branches may choose a group or page style social media site and may be public or private.
Each social media site should have at least two (2) administrators who have access to the page and can monitor posts.
Social media site administrators may:
Ban or block anyone at their sole discretion (spammers, fake accounts, problem posters etc.).
Utilize the approval rules for approving members and/or posts.
Remove any post at any time at their sole discretion; and should remove any post or comment that is contrary to the spirit of Solara (posts not germane to the game, hate speech, racial slurs, threats, spam, etc.) Remember, part of our “game” is also larping. So taunting is not the same as a threat. Any Larp gone wrong may be deleted and posters banned from the site.
Remove posts reported to them as needed.
Social media site administrators:
Should post or assign trusted contributors to post content regularly for the engagement of the people.
May not use copyrighted photographs, videos, music, etc. Sites where free non-copyright media can be found include Pixabay and Pexels. Any shared posts must contain the attribution of the original poster.
Posts and comments by other people may be removed by the administrator at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
May block or ban any individual from the site at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
May assign other administrators and moderators of the site.
Unofficial comments and social media posts by individuals are not a reflection upon the Kingdom of Solara or Realms of Solara, LLC.
